Greetings and thank you for visiting my website!!
Hi!
I am Sanchita Kamath, and I am passionate about UX Design. I believe, that products are essentially developed for users, and any product that has been created, should be inclusive and accessible.
I was introduced to UX design through IxDF, and from there, my interest just flourished. I have had experience with User Research and Interface design through University Projects, Internships and Self-adopted Projects.
I love the process of empathising, connecting with the user, trying to put myself in their shoes, and more importantly, thinking for them, rather than myself.
I am a sarcastic selectively-social human. I believe in diligence, observation and prompt execution. My friends call me a walking dictionary, but that might be overkill...well, who am I kidding?
I don't talk or react much (or rather, only when it's necessary) and vent by writing. Penning my thoughts, give me a way of speaking out to the world about my thoughts and feelings.
I believe in pursuing my passion and following my calling, and staying true to my beliefs. I believe that the difference between stubbornness and wisdom is the cognition we possess. I wish to harness every version of cognition humans are blessed with, be it lingual, attentive, redolent, perceptive, or acquired.
You've read till here, thank you.

I am a student, starting my career in UX Design. I have experience in User Research, Interface Design and I am passionate about bringing accessibility and inclusion into design, production, and even everyday life!
Ilove to design, write and sing! My favourite thing to eat is ice-cream, just in case you wondered, and my favourite colours are yellow and blue. Now that we are done with some basic small talk with respect to my life, let's move on to my work...

Purpose
Purpose:
My focus is on developing dynamic tools and environments that leverage complementary strengths of Humans and Computers & Engineering. My work lies seeks amalgamation of the sciences, engineering, legalities, society, psychology, human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and education.
The purpose of my wanting to conduct research, is to become ubiquitously inventive and diligent, for incorporating available and trusted methods into my work, for pushing the limits of the problems that HCI tackles, and to find ways to make the tools and techniques more effective for addressing societal issues. Keeping in mind that people are the reason for all my work, I will attempt to learn how to provide services and systems that improve their lives and enhance their capabilities, ultimately improving the social environment through interdisciplinary work.

Overview of my research
Being inspired by Information which plays a significant role in our lives, the purpose of my wanting to study and conduct research is to learn to harness opportunities and make efficient and effective use of information to explore, absorb and design innovative solutions for the world to its challenging problems, while incorporating accessibility and inclusivity to foster an amicable environment and play a responsibly active and participatory role at all-encompassing levels levels to make living worthwhile and fun for one and all.
The purpose of my research is to fish out inclusive, accessible and sustainable solutions to challenging societal problems using interdisciplinary methods, research, perspective, education, systems and technologies and to explore all available opportunities with empathy for creating peaceful and prosperous lives. I foresee myself becoming ready to acquire the ability to excel in deployment of innovative, reflective designing and engineering tools, continually improving on HCI methods and technologies to take calculated risks, and taking responsibility for the things created and the actions taken.
I was appointed University Champion for Expo-2020, and would love to champion accessibility and inclusion of information in the near and far future. I would appreciate a chance of intelligently exploiting my fullest potential and engaging in HCI, where I think I will be allowed to harness my future for creative, inclusive and accessible research on information and technology to solve local and globally challenging problems to improve and boost lives socio-economically, sustainably and with reliability.
Learning being lifelong, my purpose is to make it enquiry-centered education and excel in my pursuit of research in scientific and engineering truths which can make everyone's dream of smart, secure, accessible, inclusive, sustainable and reliable lives come true, while becoming career-ready for tackling challenging society problems successfully, with the ability to introduce innovative solutions and worthy to become an ambassador for inner peace and health.

Other on-going and future research
We face many open questions. To name just a few: How can individual and collaborative research best be balanced and supported? How can researching self-regulatory skill be balanced with domain-level research? How can we best support scoeity in authoring their own AI-based software?
We also face new open questions, brought to the foreground by the Covid-19 pandemic: In the new scenarios that have arisen, what challenges does society face regarding self-regulation, motivation and connectedness? How can co-orchestration tools originally designed for physical office use be adjusted to blended or online scenarios?
I am looking out for Universities and Researchers who might be interested in jointly exploring how to develop new, dynamic environments that leverage complementary strenghts of humans and computers. If you think I can be a fruitful addition to your team, please reach out to me on my email address here.
